Pace of play & course conditions
Our tee time was 10:52 & after 2hours & 40 minutes completed 9 holes . No rangers were out there doing their job to speed up play . Greens & overall condition of course is only adequate. For 75 $$ expect & deserve better !
Not bad for winter conditions
Course was in great shape for it being winter! Saw at least 10 gators, 10' to 2'. Greens were quick. Waited on the groups in front of us but that's winter golf in Florida. Go for it, you'll enjoy it!
Course rating
I didn’t have much interaction with the staff. The starter was friendly and helpful.
The course was in pretty good shape. The layout was interesting and mostly fair, except for hole #10.
Quick Round. Great price
We booked for 2pm on a cool afternoon. Course was quiet so we got out 20 mins before. Played a very fast round in about 3.5 hrs. Lots of tough holes. We will be back again for sure!
nice starter
Got there 20 minutes before my tee time due to a traffic jam on us19. Starter said I was paired with another single. But he never showed up so I was told I had to go off as a single wedged between all foresomes!!!. I asked the starter if I could join a foresome, he really felt my displeasure as a single so asked the foresome infront of my if they wouldn't mind if I joined them. Two couples and we really had a great time. Didn't hold anybody up and played in 4:10 minutes. Want to say thanks to the starter and the foresome I joined. Turned out to be a great day. Also thought the overall condition of course was very good.
No ball washing on course. One washroom. There was a gps automated scoring in cart that was for a different course. Disappointed with the overall experience.
Too slow
First things First, you dont send a 5 some that should be a no on any course.
This day it was actually a nice day started good, then on third hole, a complete stop.
As the 5 some in front of us, were playing the blue tees and they couldn’t get off the tee box, bad golfers.
Etiquette say, you should let a 2 some play through, we were a 2 some, we had to wait on every hole, there is no ranger there either.
It would be wise it your tee time is 200 bucks for 2 to at least make sure that golfers enjoy their round.
It took us 5 hours to play 18 holes worth mentioning there was no one in front of those guys.
It’s a Mudder!
Front 9 was a disastrous mudder. Water all over the fairways and greens, just poor conditions in general for this time of year. Back 9 was in better shape, more generous fairways and condition of course was in better shape. Pace of play was excellent! However, I don’t feel compelled to play the Forrest course ever again for the money I paid and conditions
Think Twice
Course conditions were quite poor - apparently they skimped on the overseeding given the poor rye coverage. A lot of bad spots and dug up areas too.
Pace of play was slowwwww. Front 9 was painfully slow. The. Ran into a six-some on yokels on the back 9 and wasn’t able to finish as they were having a good ole time dancing on the greens and celebrating … golf, beer? Not entirely sure.
With no starter and no rangers, a bit of a free-for-all. $75 each with fees was shameful.
