The Groves Golf and Country Club

This is our FAVORITE local course. The layout, distance, slope rating and professional employees make a winning combination!

Have played at The Groves many times over the past year. This a great executive course nestled in Land O Lakes, FL. Layout of course is great for all levels of experience. Highly recommended visiting this course. The deer, critters and gators are a sight to see while golfing at The Groves.

Great course. Extremely friendly staff. The ranger Butch is outstanding. Always remembers my name and always greets me with a smile. The only negative I can say about this course is the bar service is very slow and drinks are pricey compared to other golf courses in the area. Pro shop guys are great Nico is outstanding. A well manicured course. Some challenging high risk with high rewards holes if you make the tee shot.

This course gives lots of opportunities to score and is very well maintained. GPS on the quiet cart was very helpful. It's a cool track, and the tees, greens, fairways, and bunkers were very nicely maintained. The staff is friendly, and that hot dog at the turn did the trick. Thanks again

Found the course to be short but still challenging

I love this course!
Turn on my friends to it, they love it too!
All the staff and course workers are very friendly and accommodating!
Today I was paired with two college students.
They played the Blue pro tees, topping the ball, hitting an average of 50 yards.
I tried to help them play better and faster, but to no avail.
After holding everyone up, we finally made it to a the back 9. Or so I thought. They both said they’re stopping for a 30 min break!
Best thing that ever happened to me!
Caught up with a 3 some, played with them!
They were good golfers
Anyway I scored a 39 on the front and a 33 on the back.
Big difference!
This great executive course is fascinating and the pace of play usually moves right along!

I have played The groves many times and it never ceases to amaze me how well kept it is... The tee boxes the fairways the bunkers and the greens are in excellent condition... I would highly recommend this course... The staff is very friendly.. I would give it 10 Stars if I could...AAA+++

This is a nice course with some beautiful landscapes of swamps/lakes. The course is pretty short but pretty challenging with doglegs and tough greens. Perfect course to practice irons and some reachable par 4s & 5s.

It's probably the best layout short course in the Tampa Bay area. The greens were very nice. The bunkers were all raked and plush. My only complaint is the tee boxes a lot of divots, some weren't mowed. Not sure why they neglect it. I'm a 10 handicap and played with a new golfer and we had a blast. Challenging for me and fun for him. Will definitely be back though.

This course is always fun to play and in great shape for the price. We return often because of the proximity to our home and never leave upset (other than when we play poorly)!

The course is one of my favorites. Always in excellent condition, pace of play is always good, and friendly staff. When you’re done go inside for a drink and a bite to eat. The food is very good.
