Heritage Harbor
About
The Heritage Harbor Golf Club measures nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees and is one of the more challenging public course layouts in the Tampa Bay area. Four sets of tees have been incorporated into the design, making the course fun for golfers of all skill levels. The swirling winds and strategically located bunkers will play havoc with the players of these finely manicured links. However, the large greens may provide some relief. The premium on the championship course has been placed mainly on the short game. Winding through natural areas and cypress heads, Heritage Harbor Golf Club offers many scenic, unobstructed views. Seven of the eighteen holes have no homesites adjacent to the fairways, offering great, uncluttered golf.

Good course, bad weather
Played the course on a cold windy day after several periods of rain. The course conditions weren’t too bad considering the weather the past weeks.
Pro shop gentleman was friendly and efficient. It wasn’t crowded because of the weather so we headed right to the first tee after a quick bucket of balls at the aqua range.
After the round, we had lunch at the clubhouse. The food was good but service seemed a bit slow because the place was packed with football fans watching the game. It was probably a fun place to be if you cared about the game.
Typically a great course
I've played this course about 8 times in the past 3 months. Typically I pretty good experience but always a hold up. Twosome behind us made "multiple calls to the office about slow play" but never rolled up on us. Skipped a hole and slowed the next three groups down to a standstill for the rest of the day. Staff, who are typically great, handled it poorly.
Play typically feels hurry up and wait. Rushed to get to the next hole and wait 20 minutes for the group in front. I typically skip 1-2 holes to try to get a head of the crowd.
Not sure I'll go back.
Course needs work
The course needs some work, especially fairways and sand traps. Hit off fairways is like hitting off hard ground with no grass. Greens are in good shape. Traps need to be raked each day.
Heritage Harbor Lutz
The course is in good shape for this time of year
The greens were a bit quick but in good condition
Heritage Harbor GOLF
if you haven't tried this course, you must!! it's one of the best public courses in the area.
Course needs some work!
Course is decent! Fairways very dry with no ball support, meaning no grass to hold ball up. Tee boxes a little beat up and sand traps need racking. Greens pretty good! Golf carts good! Price decent! Good layout! I know water is a problem for fairways and has been for a number of years.
Get Better HH
Honestly they should shut HH down for a year and just spruce up the basics. Fix the bunkers. Let the fairway grass grow. It’s a good little course when it’s in good condition. Not a long course so you get to practice short irons. But you hit off a lot of bare ground and the bunkers look like someone just dumped some dirt in the fairway. It wouldn’t take much to get this from a C- course to a B+ course
Nice course
I love playing here. The course is in good condition but the pace was okay.

Nice course and value.
Lots of character with a few blind lay up shots. Overall its a fun track and the price is fair. Course Conditions were nice.
Great deal - Great course
Fun course with a few challenging holes. Greens are in very good shape - a nice change from the sub $100 courses in the area. Definitely a nice hidden jewel of a course - great deal.
Decent course
Course was in pretty good shape. Grass just cut short in fairways sometimes. Good for extra yards on shots but hard to get club under the ball sometimes. Greens were excellent. Rolled great and decent pace.
Nice Round
Fairways and greens in very good condition. Greens a bit slower than I’m used to. Overall, a very enjoyable day, will plan to play again even though it’s a 30 mile trek for me.
cold front
after a morning rain course was a little slow for roll but pace of play was excellent
Layout
Course has an equal number of easy, moderate and challenging holes. Always fun to play.
