The Club Renaissance
About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Nice course!
Had a fun time playing this course. Had a fun group, played a little slow. Course was in great shape.
Excellent course
The course was in great shape. The greens were hard but fair. Very fast and tough to read but honest. The layout was very interesting, especially one of my playing partners who hits from Burgandy. The Blue tees were great. Definitely on our list of courses we’ll play again soon.
Spend some friggin money
Pace was beyond slow
Golfcourse is rotting away
Greens are like rocks
Too bad could be a nice course value
But no more than a muni corse now I am afraid
Overall good facility
Played Renaissance and found it to be a very nice course. Played from the white tees and nothing was overwhelming. Lots of water to get around. Greens are in great shape. Will definitely go back
Played Cypress Creek down the road last week and Renaissance was head and shoulders better golf.
Nice course
This course has a really nice layout. The course was in better shape last year than this year, but still in decent shape. As far as pace of play, the front was slow!, but we played the back at a great pace. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Club Renaissance
Very disappointed in the course conditions. Played a few years ago and it was Fantastic. Has gone downhill since then.
Beautiful course
We started earlier than tee time, pace of play was good, the course is beautiful and very good condition. Green are fast, better sharpen your putter.
Worth the drive.
I had never played here before but I'll be back. Looks like it was previously a private club. Good layout with water on pretty much every hole. Some challenging par 3's especially with the very windy conditions we experienced. Friendly staff and pace of play was good although it was a Sunday morning on Super Bowl Sunday so I'd like to know if this is not typical. Only negative is there is no driving range to warm up at.
Hard firm greens
The course is improving but still not as great a shape like a few years ago. The greens are rock hard, but roll true. The art of hitting the ball 10-15 yards of the pin comes into play on every hole.
I'm glad I was able to save money by booking through the course directly and not through golfnow. You can do the same.
Better than expected
After reading recent reviews, I was nicely surprised
The greens and fairways are in great shape..!
I played in 4 hours but could’ve done it in 3:30 with a better pace
