You should be paid to play this course
The course was in horrible condition. Tee boxes had more dirt than grass and the grass was actually the thickest on the tee boxes out of the entire course. Maybe 40% of the lights actually worked making this course a little scary to play given the neighborhood. Greens were un-puttable and even though they recently sanded them. Practice facilities were better than the course. I would highly recommend not playing night golf here and even stay away during the day- it’s a waste of money. Someone would have to pay me to come play that course again, and on top of all of this, another group decided to pick up my ball that was 10 yards off the left of the #3 green. When I confronted them about it, one claimed that I would have to fight him to get my ball back... seriously... wish I was joking. Told him he could keep it if he was really that poor as he persisted that I would indeed have to fight him. So save your time, money, and patience and go to a real golf course.
Awful and getting worse...
I've played this course a lot. I first played it late 1998. I actually used to work there one day a week for about 6 months, back in 2004. So through the years I've seen it in various states of being really nice or just ok, but the current state is so bad. Half the lights are out, so forget about playing the course as it was intended at night. The tee boxes are all bad...mostly sand and not much grass.
Hole #1 has very little light on the tee box and fairway. Hole 7 has no lights on the tee box. Hole 3 has no lights on the green. Hole 6 has no lights on the green. And about 5 greens are un-puttable. They are sanding some of the greens to try and improve them, but even before the sand, un-puttable.
I was also asked to give my driver license for the pro shop to hold for the golf cart. I've been to some nice golf courses and this is the first time ever I've been asked to give up a driver license to use a golf cart. It's a bit insulting.
I would not waste my time or money playing this until they improve.
Not worth it for night golf
I specifically went here since I heard there were 9 holes fully lighted. However as we progressed we soon realized that many of the lights were not working. We had to skip about 3 holes since the greens did not have any working lights on the greens. Being our first time there we could hardly find hole 7 since the lights were out on 6th green and it was pitch dark by hole 7 tee box. Green conditions were very hit and miss, some covered with weeds / dirt and others seemed ok.
I'm sure for the daytime this course serves its purposes and is a laid back / cheap 9 hole course to play during the daytime. But I cannot recommend playing here for the night golf. Fortunately for us it was not too busy, but I feel like this would be a dangerous course to play at night simply because the missing lights and people would be hitting all over the place not knowing who is in front of them.
Don’t play this course
This is easily the worst course I have played on. Not worth even a penny to play on it. The greens had weeds everywhere, the fairways were in awful condition, and each hole felt like it was too short. Never playing here again and I suggest you don’t either!
Great for Beginners and Iron Work
Not for serious golfers. Tee boxes have taken a beating and some greens are unputtable but serves a purpose. Take a beginner or get some better than a range practice.
Save your dollars.
Horrible. Even worse than the pitiful state it was in last time. They should proceed with turning this course into apartments because it’s worthless adjacent.
Worst course in the area
We played a night tee time and probably 20% of the lights were not on. We asked if they could be turned on and they told us all the lights had been turned on so I guess they don't care that so many are burnt out. Every tee box was either majority dirt or completely dirt. Fairways were ok but were a pretty hard surface. The greens are the worst I've ever played on. Very slow, which is something you have to adjust your game to, but so many dead patches and dirt. One a few holes the ball would be rolling and then of a sudden bounce up or to the side. Very hard to make a putt outside of 5 feet on some of them. Also I wouldn't say the layout is very challenging. I think there was maybe 3 sand traps and one water hazard. The rest are straightforward which is pretty boring in my opinion. Definitely would not recommend at night and I'll just say I wouldn't go back during the day either
Nov. visit
This is a good course for golfers looking to practice their iron play. Tee boxes and fairways are in rough shape. Appears to be from limited irrigation. Greens, however were in good shape. The price is fair for the condition and lenght of the course. Despite the negatives, I would play here again.
Map
The google map was brutal landed us in a residential area..no golf course im sight.
Good thing we left early had to drive around to find it
Would not play here again
This course is in horrible condition. I couldn't believe how bad the greens were. I could deal with bad tee boxes which were very bad but greens should be kept in better condition.
Quick fix
Great course for a quick fix. You can walk or use cart for very reasonable price.
Good 9 Hole Course
This is more than just a par 3 course. Has 3 par4's, albeit short, but also 2 lengthy par3's. Some elevation changes and on 2 of the par 4's, you'll likely have some sort of sidehill lie for your second shot.
Winter grass has come in and the greens were a bit slow but rolled smoothly.
New sand in the bunkers .
Have a great practice green strictly for chips and pitches....can hit pitches up to about 50 yards to a two tiered green.
nice short course
they revamped a few of the greens and they look and feel really good,,,ty
Don't waste your money or time!!
Went there on Sunday morning August 20, 2017. It all started off with the door not working so I had to push their electric door to get in. When the guy in the pro shop finally came to the desk it seem like he was very unfriendly. For nine holes of golf and a medium bucket of balls it was over $30. The driving range and practice facility is fine however the golf course is an absolutely horrible condition. It is definitely not worth $17 to play nine holes of golf that has two temporary greens and hardly any grass on the other tee boxes and greens. I will not be back. They need to get their stuff together and adjust the rates accordingly to the condition of the golf course. Mark Abitabilo
Great Little Course - Especially for beginners
First time here and man, it sucked.
Just kidding, I did. Otherwise the course is in great shape. Lots of par 3s wiith a couple 4s in there. Find a good price on GolfNow and go check it out for yourself.
Decent for the price
While the course was so-so, the price was good if you just want to get out and swing the clubs for 9 holes.
Great Nine Hole Course
This is a great 9 hold course ( 3 par4's and 6 par 3's). Good mix of par 3's ranging from 80-90 yds to 190 yds from the white tees. Some minimal elevation changes so it's not "pancake" flat.
Par 4's allow me to hit driver.
Very large greens and have some slopes on most.
