The Club Renaissance
About
The beautifully manicured, par-72 Renaissance Golf Course features two distinctive nines. The front nine has an open links feel to it with wide fairways and greens that will accept bump-and-run approach shots. The back nine requires more accuracy from tee to green as it meanders through a large conservation area. Water comes into play on every hole on the inward nine on this course designed by Chip Powell. Most fairways are lined with stately pines and ancient oaks. The greens at the Renaissance Golf Club are a pleasure to putt. These TifEagle Bermuda grass putting surfaces are state-of-the-art and roll fast.

Great course for the price!
Played here a few times before, good layout, friendly staff, good condition for $55 can’t beat that.
Good layout
Besides playing with a women member who is absolutely the worse. Course is fun to play. for summer golf. Greens need some love.
Worth the drive
Not a super long ride from Bradenton, never played it before, layout was fun, not super hard but not easy, tees, fairways and esp greens in real good shape. Would go back again.
The greens are sluggish
Overall the course is in decent shape. The greens are super slow right now, hopefully in the next few weeks they will cut and roll them to give them some speed.
The fairways are in decent shape, have they been better, yes.
I will continue to play the course because for now when we want to play the course is open.
My only gripe is booking the course through golfnow, which is a rip-off.
Nice course
Would be 5 on condition but the greens were very inconsistent. Some fast some slow and all of them were really hard. Nothing was holding the green. Hopefully when we get some rain they will be better!
I saw a ranger twice. Awesome.
Was paired with a threesome of different handicaps.
We lost sight of the group in front of us but never saw the group behind us. Nice 4 1/4 hours round.
I saw the elusive ranger on the front and back nine.
Was not needed but was happy to see a course professional operated.
Looking forward to returning.
Greens were hard as a pool table, sure they will be punched as sanded soon.
Outstanding
Great course, excellent condition, superb employees. A hidden gem.
Big Money, No Value
This course absolutely sucks. Staff treat you like crap and and the course needs work. first course ever seen that you can’t use your own golf cart unless you pay some stupid, insane fee. Management must be the worst ever. whoever owns this course must be one cheap SOB.
We enjoy play CR
Course needs some water.
Greens are topped with sand and very hard
Tees and fairways were good.
We will return...
Great course for price when in peak season
Solid course.. greens were a little slow which is odd cause it’s very hard to hold a green from the fairway. overall great layout, some difficult shots off tee box that require precision. For the price it’s great value
Great course
This course is in very good condition, especially since it is the end of a very busy season. I will be playiing the course again this week. Most of the fairways are forgiving however there are a few challenging holes.
