Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Greens need work
The layout, tees and fairways were decent but most of the putting surfaces are in dire shape. Hard to recommend at this time.
Course is worn out
A year ago I would have recommended this course
….. but now, no. This course didn’t have a single intact green not covered in sand, dead spots and punched out greens that never had the grass grow back.
If you are not dead center fairway, chances are you are getting from dead grass, sand, mud, or damaged course.
I play a lot in tampa and as of now 06/18/23 it is no where near worth the value they are charging to play.
… you expect grass to look better during rainy season but this course is worn out. Plus pretty sure the premade hotdogs almost made us like by 12
Great Day
Love this course. Challenging enough but not ridiculous. As with everywhere in Tampa, a little dry but nice course
$52 for what.
The price for admission doesn't reflect how bad the ride was.
I'm not sure who will read this, if you're someone who works at the course in management, please, please do something to fix the problems on the course. The greens fee is not worth playing the course, you should be embarrassed to charge such a high price and you are not fixing any of the problems at the course. At least fix the greens.
I have nothing good to say about anything the course has to offer.
Used to be a lot better
Pretty overpriced given conditions, pace of play, and overall quality. Never any starters or rangers to manage place of play. The conditions of the greens and tees are always hit or miss. Today they were choppy and infested with ants (hello summer). Staff in the pro shop are always rude besides the hispanic gentleman who always apologizes for them. They host tournaments and shut down the course/range randomly with no heads up or indication on their website. Can’t count how many times I’ve shown up to hit the range but it’s closed for an event. Whenever I say something about the price, I always hear about the par 3 course and practice facility that’s being built but over the past 3 years of visiting the course, I haven’t noticed much progress if any at all. Today the man in the pro shop said “you should see the prices at rocky point” (another dog track). Great comparison. Unfortunately I won’t be returning.
Fun to play
Course was in good condition and we played at a fast pace.
Great layout but that’s it
Course has a great layout and pretty nice greens especially for off-season. The clubhouse is decent but the kitchen staff was less than friendly. Food was solid.
Excellent shape for this time of year. Could use water but all courses are very dry. Greens tough pin placements. Tee boxes were being worked on and showed little signs of established grass. Still played fine. Looking forward to playing it again later this summer.
Perfect Weather to play golf!
The staff was fantastic. The greens were great but the fairways with the dry weather were only about 75% grass.
Rogers Park is what it is
I played a look and see round from the green tees as that is where I will be playing from in the upcoming tournament. No trouble breaking ninety and had it not been for the triple on the front and the triple on the back would have broken 80. Greens were extremely fast and some of them were beat up a bit and needed some work. Others wise course was okay....
