Rogers Park Golf Course
About
Located only minutes away from downtown Tampa, Rogers Park Golf Course offers easy access to Tampa International Airport and also the beautiful beaches of Tampa Bay. Although it has a convenient location near many attractions, it is secluded from the noise of busy streets and neighborhoods since the Hillsborough River almost completely surrounds it. The scenic golf course has water hazards coming into play on several holes and there are sand bunkers throughout. In addition to the course, Rogers Park is known for their extensive practice facilities. They boast of having one of Tampa's finest driving ranges and their three-hole course provides excellent short game practice.

Enjoyable round.
A Hot day. Lots of trees for shade. Good pace - 4 hrs.
Very friendly
No 5 sums for You!
Multiple 5 sums after Iwas told they had a cart . You can watch the slow groups on 5, 6, 7 just no one in front for 2 holes and everyone waiting on tee boxes and approach shots. Get a Ranger in winter and spring. Greens are beat up and if you get one that's green it doesn't roll true.
5 hour round is unacceptable.
Just Decent
Course is a little too over-grown and has tons of weeds. Pace of play was terrible. The single in front of me was playing 2 balls for every shot, sometimes 3. Not good.
Old Hoosiers
Nice layout but dry. Water on entire course would be helpful. Hard to keep the ball in the fairway
Nice course
Nice golf course, simple layout, fairways and greens in great condition considering time of year!!
Nice Extras!
We’ve been golfing in the Tampa area on holidays for two weeks now and we have found ourselves returning to Rogers Park. Why? Sure it doesn’t have perfect greens nor fairways, but it is still completely playable and enjoyable for this 11 handicapper. Why do they get extra points? They have a COLD water available in locations throughout the course. No other course in area supplies that. They also have actual water in the ball washers! Their carts are electric (presumably) so are quiet with no gas fumes too. When you compare similar courses at similar costs , Rogers wins for the reasons above, plus the great range and practice areas. We went out as a pair at 2:20 p.m. and finished in 3:20 hours.
nice course
Rogers Park is fairly open but there are a couple holes where course knowledge is helpful. course was in good shape but if you're off the fairway, it was bone dry. i'd prefer to be in the sand around the green as you can slide your ball under the club.
of the three city courses, Rogers is the best and i'll play it again.
Greens
If the greens were better manicured I would 4 star the course - greens bumpy, splotchy, very slow
Course was great.
Great time with friend and two new friends.
Will go again as soon as I can arrange a date and time.
Looking forward to more good times.
I want a new chance to beat the 16th hole..
Great Muni Course
Old style layout with plenty of surprises for first time players. Pace of play was excellent. The greens were in great shape for a Muni with tee boxes, bunkers and fairways quite decent. This is a First Tee location with lots of very polite young golfers around the practice area’s. If you are staying at the Hard Rock it’s a couple of par 5’s away.
