Dunes Golf Club

It is obvious that they are trying to recover from when the course was closed as the conditions are not that good... But the routing is outstanding. If they get this course to simply average conditions I will gladly return to play.

The Dunes was a great experience for my friends who have never played here before.

Course is coming back, almost there. Do not miss out, greens roll excellent.

The staff at the Dunes is working very hard to get this gem of a course back to where it was several years ago . It's almost there . The Greens are in very good shape , rolling true and Fast . The fairways are getting better every day and by mid July they should be much thicker and on there way to being great again. , Keep it up guys and this Gem will be back .
I am an 8 Hcap and will be playing the Dunes a lot more .

Course was closed for some time and has not yet made it back. It will take a while for the fairways to recover. It was so bad we only played nine.

I have played this course many times. Since they reopened they have had a struggle to get it back in shape. I have played it about once a month for a while because of the condition. However, it is on the verge of being a great golf course again. The Bermuda is waking up and filling in nicely. I think it will be back in great shape within the next month or two. I will start playing it more for sure.

The course is a great challenge. The greens roll fast and true. It is long and has lots of sand. There are plenty of tee options to fit your game. Lots of sand but
wide fairways give you good options for every shot.

An added bonus of this course is the wildlife. I have seen turkey, eagles, foxes which makes it a pleasant experience. Most of the holes do not have houses lining the fairways. The few that does are not close.

The Dunes is an exciting layout with big fairways, lots of waste bunkers, with only one water hole. The fairways are like a parking lot no grass thus the ball finds the bunkers easy with the slope . The greens are in good shape and putt very true. I'll be back with a grass hitting mate to pick and place the ball till the fairways come back.

While the overall conditions are OK, but greens are above average. The fairway are sparse but are being cared for and will continue to get better over the next few months. The new owners are trying really hard to bring this course back to where it was 10 years ago.
Give them some help by playing it.

If you don't pitch in low play will once again sink this course...

I played Gold and they a sign on the first Toff for indicate this is for 8-12 handicap, I have 12 and I played my handicap...

Don't go!! The fairways have no grass. Mostly weeds. The greens were good if they were not burned out. However, if you want a practice round it is ok. I was the only golfer on the course. I played 2 balls every now and then and still finished in less than 3 hours! Got the tee time on Golf Now for $21.

Fairways are far from mediocre. Will take a while to get the course in shape. Hopefully they won't run out of money before then.

I saw this was an Arthur Hills course and figured i would give it a shot since i was waiting for World Woods (across the street) to lower their rates. I went in with higher than normal expectations for a Florida course. Immediately my partner and i figured this was not quite what we were expecting. The fairways are either a sand/grass mix or just pure crab grass. The rough was the same story. The green were in so so condition, not nearly as bad as the fairways. It was however one of the more interesting layouts for a Florida course. Lots of elevation change and wooded areas.

In all, save your money for something else.

My neighbor and myself had high hopes for this course since emerging out of bankrupty since it's close to home, but it appears that it's heading back in that direction. Fairways are almost non existent, and greens were in the fair to almost state. We loved the fact that we had the whole course to ourselves, but it didn't take long to figure out why. Sincerely hope they can bring this course back.

I really want this course to be in good shape because of its challenging layout, but its not. (Though it was slightly better than the last time I played it) If you want plush fairways and fast greens think twice before playing here right now.

I loved the course. When it was in great shape it would have been a wonderful experience. It is in terrible shape, weeds, bare spots, greens had bare spots. No beer license yet.

Lot of sand greatly washed out from rains. You could loose your ball in a sand trap. Natural sand.

This is an amazing golf course. Very quiet and tranquil. It reminds me a lot of World Woods. The fairways are in bad shape, but the greens were pretty nice to play.

Nobody out there, so we had a blast. Just roll the ball.

Some superb layout with a great variation of holes, doglegs. great par 3 and par 5s.

If you look for a manicured golf course, dont go there right now.

I hope they get thab back in decent shape with green fairways, then we will return frequently.

We were a foursome that played the course on two consecutive days. The greens were in very good shape, fairways need water and fertilizer, some of trap need work. The track is a great lay out and offers a real challenge to golfer of all levels.

This course has a beautiful layot with lots of undulation. That's where the accolades cease. It is in pathetic condition. Doesn't appear a chemical has been used out there in 3 years. What little green there is in the fairways is nothing but weeds. Definitely not worth the drive or the money
